Enhancing Biodiversity: Providing conservation and cultural opportunities on farms (CSGL22029)

This project will aim to repair some of the ecological damage inflicted by land clearing and unsustainable land management practices through native revegetation and protective fencing, ultimately increasing native flora and fauna biodiversity to this landscape. NSPNR receives frequent requests from local landholders for fencing and revegetation that we are more than often unable to provide. This project will assist NSPNR in meeting these demands giving the organisation opportunities to sufficiently promote future works to the community. This project will partner with the local aboriginal group, Gnowangerup Aboriginal Corporation (GAC), and provide a direct connection between them and local landholders. By providing local provenance seeds and seedlings, as well as sharing local knowledge, the Gnowangerup Aboriginal Corporation will play an integral part in this project.
