NSPNR is proud to host Dr Geoff Woodall, native plant researcher and sandalwood grower with 20+ years of experience.
Geoff will discuss management of plantation sandalwood: thinning, harvesting, processing, licencing, insuring and what to do with the land post-harvest. We will view harvesting of a 20-year-old sandalwood plantation and be joined by industry representatives. Morning tea and lunch provided.
When: Thursday 25th March 2021 9am for 9.30 start.
Where: Gather at Borden Pavilion, then self-drive to two locations of plantation sandalwood south of Borden, finishing approx 3pm.
