NSPNR has applied for state funding for a small community joint partnership application with the Borden Development Group.

We have again requested assistance from the Shire of Gnowangerup to support our Administration and Finance Officer Position, this time for an amount of $15,000.00. All on groundwork has been matched dollar for dollar by landholders with cash or by volunteers with in-kind work. This shows the huge effort undertaken by a large number of people in order to keep the North Stirlings Pallinup Natural Resources and Shire of Gnowangerup both economically strong and environmentally sound.

Department of Conservation Environmental Community Grants

“Furthering the Protection and Enhancement of Peenebup Creek” will undertake 2.3kms of fencing along the Peenebup Creek to protect some excellent stands of existing vegetation. This section is protected by a covenant until 2022.
